RESTORATION OF RIGHTS CLINIC

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, in collaboration with Second Calvary Baptist Church, will sponsor a clinic to help ex-felons apply to have their rights restored. The clinic will include a question and

answer session and one-to-one assistance with completing applications. 

The clinic will be held Saturday, April 15, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., at Second Calvary Baptist Church, 2940 Corprew Avenue in Norfolk. For information, call 537-4616.

Teen Summit 2009

"Waging War for Our Youth" is the theme for Teen Summit 2009, to be hosted by the Hampton Roads Youth & Community Advisory Council. The free event will be held Saturday, April 18, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Royal Courtyard, 329 Birchwood Park Drive in Virginia Beach.

Boys Choir of Hampton Roads 12th Anniversary Concert

The Boys Choir of Hampton Roads will present its 12th Anniversary Concert April 19, 5:00 p.m. at Booker T. Washington High School, 111 Park Avenue in Norfolk. Special guests will be the Richmond Boys Choir, under the direction of Billy Dye. Tickets are $10 adults, $5.00 ages 13-17 and $2.00 ages 12 and under. Tickets will be sold at the door.
